Yes, the installation is simple. You attach the dashcam to the windshield with a suction cup and connect it to the cigarette lighter. You don’t need to drill or screw anything. The included installation video shows exactly how to connect everything and neatly hide the cables.
Does the dashcam record automatically?
Yes, as soon as you start the car, the DriveVision Pro automatically begins recording. You don’t need to turn anything on yourself.
Does the dashcam also work when the car is turned off?
Yes, as soon as you turn off the car, the DriveVision Pro automatically switches to smart parking mode. In this mode, it immediately records any movement or vibration, even when the engine is completely off.
The dashcam uses very little power in this mode and does not pose a risk to your battery. Thanks to the built-in voltage protection, it automatically turns off when the battery level gets too low. Your car will always be ready to start.
In practice, you can leave your car parked without worry for more than a week to even several weeks. If you really leave your vehicle unused for a long time, such as during a vacation, you can manually turn off the dashcam, although this is usually not necessary.
Does the DriveVision Pro have night vision?
Yes, thanks to HDR technology and night vision, the dashcam captures everything clearly even in low light or darkness.
Can I watch footage directly?
Yes, you can watch the footage directly via the app or on the built-in screen of the DriveVision Pro.
Is sound also recorded?
Yes, the dashcam has a built-in microphone that automatically records sound. Prefer no audio? You can easily disable this in the menu.
What happens when the SD card is full?
Thanks to loop recording, old, unimportant footage is automatically overwritten once the SD card is full. If something important happens, like a collision, the G-sensor ensures that those recordings are automatically protected and not lost.
You don’t have to delete or save anything yourself – the DriveVision Pro handles everything automatically, so you don’t have to worry about it.
Does this dashcam fit in every vehicle?
Yes, the DriveVision Pro is suitable for every type of vehicle. Thanks to the sturdy suction cup, you can easily attach the camera to any windshield, and the connection via the cigarette lighter works in almost all cars, vans, and campers. You don’t need to modify or rebuild anything.
